How the invoice generator works
What a VAT invoice should show. Your business name and VAT number, the customer’s name, a unique invoice number, the date, each item with quantity and price, the VAT rate and amount, and the total.
Formula. Subtotal − discount = taxable amount. Taxable amount × VAT rate = VAT. Taxable amount + VAT = total due.
Tip. Number invoices in sequence and keep copies. Tax authorities across the GCC can ask to see them.
